preppy text version 2

here's what you're gonna need for this tutorial:

pattern one | pattern two

step one: open up a blank document and type out the text you want to use.

step two: under your layers palette, hit "fx" then hit "pattern overlay". use the first pattern i gave you and add a 2px black stroke.


step three: make a new layer. hit ctrl and click your text layer. then, right-click and hit "merge layers".
step four: hit "fx" on the new merged layer and add a 2px white stroke.
step five: make another new layer and merge them. then add a 3px stroke. change the fill type to gradient and use the colors from your color scheme. then match your settings to mine:

step five: add another 2px black stroke. then make a new layer and merge them together.
step six: add one more 2px stroke and use the second pattern i gave you. then add a drop shadow, and match your settings to mine.

and you're done! here's your finished product!
